Questions

Straight answers.

Where are events held?
All events are held at the Thunderdome at the Kickstart Travel Plaza, 12998 SD Hwy-34, Sturgis, SD 57785 — 3 miles east of Sturgis.
How do I register to drive?
Through NASA at drivenasa.com. Every driver needs a NASA membership and an event registration; that's what covers the insurance, so there's no way around it. The How to Register page walks through it step by step. Questions: kriswcudmore@yahoo.com.
Is it a competition?
Mostly not. Our events are grassroots and many are "practice" in nature and non-competitive. The goal is a fun environment to shred and party with your friends.
What time should I be there?
Setup runs 7–8 AM, tech 8–9 AM, driver meeting 9–9:30, media meeting 9:30–10, and drifting from 10 AM to 5 PM. Night Drift rounds run into the evening under the lights.
What car can I bring?
Rear-wheel drive or RWD-converted only, and it must pass the basic tech sheet. Full details on the Rules & Tech page.
I'm a photographer or filmmaker. Can I shoot?
Yes — attend the media meeting at 9:30 AM on event day for access and safety briefing. Contact Kris ahead of time at kriswcudmore@yahoo.com.
